    An informative creative course discussing herbal and nutritional remedies for common childhood complaints. Effectiveness of remedies, safe dosage for youngsters and babies and methods of administration will be covered. Topics to be discussed include: colic, allergies, ear infections, eczema, mild fevers and sleeping difficulties. 
  • Herbs for Stress and Stamina
    Discover remedies for insomnia, depression, gastrointestinal upsets, ulcers and other stress related symptoms related to a hectic lifestyle. Explore strengthening your endurance and immune system, as well as enhancing memory. 
  • Herbs for Digestive Health

    Bring the magic of herbal medicines into your home! Learn the traditional approaches and modern techniques for making edible infused oils, herbal vinegars, herbal salve and lip balms. Participants will take home products made in class. 
  • Herbal Medicine Making: Intermediate 
    Learn the ancient techniques of medicine making with the use of plant medicine. In class we will make a digestive emulsion, water based cream, mustard plaster, body lotion, herbal compress and poultice, ear oil and prepare an essential oil steam inhalation. Participants will take home products made in class. 
  • Herbal Medicine Making: Advanced 
    Learn the ancient techniques of medicine making with the use of plant medicine. In class we will cover the ancient art of tincture making, review the differences between macerations and percolations, herbal syrups, oxymels, herbal vinegars, glycerites and fluid extracts. Participants will take home a tincture and products made in class. Participants are asked to bring some additional materials to class plus a 500 ml glass bottle with secure fitting lid.
