The therapeutic properties of cinnamon oil are also analgesic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, emmenagogue, insecticide, stimulant and vermifuge.Caution: the cinnamaldehyde and eugenol contained in the oil could cause skin irritation, especially to mucus membranes and sensitive skin, thus dilute well with a carrier oil, skin patch test first and use with care for short term use.
Cinnamon oil blends well with cloves, cardamom, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, rosemary and thyme.
