What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy combines focused thought with gentle finger tapping of key acupressure points, a technique that clears energy blocks along the body's meridians, and the same energy pathways mapped by the Chinese physicians thousands of years ago.
The therapy is based on the fact that any negative emotion or pain -including anxiety, anger and depression is caused by a blockage in the body’s energy system; removing the blockage in energy can alleviate the symptoms. EFT can help to alleviate physical pain, emotional trauma, addiction, anxiety and low self confidence. Tapping, while concentrating on physical symptoms or past traumas, can help release associated symptoms, pain and dis-ease.
